When I have plenty of free time, for example during my holidays, I like to go to mountains. I'm a mountaineer since I remember because my mother and my father used to take me with them. At the beginning I used to think about it as a duty so I didn't enjoy it very much. Later I started to like it.
As you can see, I love nature very much. Of course, I love animals too, be it this way or other way or yet another way.
I like to alpine ski during the winter season. I used to ski cross-country a lot, but nowadays winters are not the same as they used to be, so there's not enough snow down here in walleys to do it.
I allways like to go to some trip with my bike, be it to some near hill, or somewhere a little further away, to visit my friends ... I find my bike usefull especially at home, in Ljubljana. Bike is the fastest way of transportation in the city, only a little uncomfortable during the winter time.
As nearly everyone I like to eat and dink good. I'm passionate admirer of dark beers, as a local patriot I drink only Crni Baron (black baron), brewed by Union brewery. Well, if I desperatly need a beer and I just can't find Union beer, then I also drink Lasko beer. I have to confess that I also like Bohemian beers, because besides that they are good they are also very cheap. The later is correct mostly in Bohemia but not here in Slovenia.
I'm also very interested in all kinds of technical things. Besides computers, which are my hobby I'm interested mostly in transportation. That's the least true for ships and sailboats, because I live (for our circumstances) quite far from sea. I'm more intersted in airplanes and flying and even more in automobiles and railway.
Automobiles are somehow magic for me. I'm impressed every time I see a nice shaped car and I'm impressed even more by good capabilities. I like to drive quite fast through some curve from time to time although my mother allways tells me not do drive so fast. I think that speed is a kind of drug for me; I like to do quickly everything (I like to ski fast, I like to ride my bike fast, I walk fast ... only beer I drink slowly). As a matter of fact, the motto of my life is: Live fast and die young (in heart).
I'm addicted to railways genetically. My grandfather was railway man whole life and my two uncles are railway enthusiasts. I like to travel with trains and I'm interested in all kinds of technology which is used in railway transportation. I'm also interested in museum trains, steam locomotives and such things and thus a regular visitor of the railway museum.
